Squeaky clean. No language, no targets, no punching down. I've been doing this since 1979 — clean is the brand. Which is why I usually mention this: kids can absolutely sit in the front row. They might miss a few of the grown-up jokes, but they'll lose their minds at the straight jacket.
Sharp enough for the bar. The writing's for adults. You don't get 10,000 shows in by playing the same set forever.
